The first Poli-Pix winners have been revealed

It was too hard for the judges to decide – so they have awarded three prizes for the first round

The first few weeks of the election have seen charities and community groups, large and small, across Australia get their local politicians to learn more about their work and their contribution to the community.  

All of the pictures entered into the Poli-Pix competition capture the many ways our volunteers, charities and community groups enrich our lives and communities every single day.

But there can only be… three winners.

Given the high calibre of entries for the first weekly prize, the judges were unable to choose just one winner, so they awarded three prizes of $1,000 for this first round.

Congratulations to Arena Theatre (WA), the Natimuk Showground Community Recreation Reserve user groups, and community radio RTRFM.

Poli-pix is a contest created in collaboration by CCA and Our Community. Entries will be judged on a weekly basis by highly respected Australian news photographer Mike Bowers.
