Salary Survey

SALARY SURVEY 2023 IS HERE!

The Australian social sector’s most trusted salary survey.

Is the remuneration you offer, or are receiving, equivalent and competitive within the NFP sector? After the Great Resignation, now more than ever it is essential to have an accurate view of the industry standard and expectations for pay. The Pro Bono Australia Salary Survey has the answers.

2023 Not-For-Profit Remuneration Report

The Salary Survey has been helping not-for-profit organisations for 11 years by mapping out trends and offering in-depth analysis. The report allows individuals and organisations to effectively benchmark their remuneration practices, allowing you to offer appropriate salaries to new employees, and manage the retention and satisfaction of existing employees.

Brought to you thanks to our friends at NGO Recruitment, the report is the not-for-profit sector’s trusted source of salary data, and it’s bigger and better than ever.

The generosity of this year’s participants resulted in the highest ever number of responses in history, with 300+ organisations taking part. This year, we partnered with PwC Australia for a professional analysis into the remuneration of non-executive directors in the sector.

To purchase the report, carefully choose the size of your organisation to ensure you are paying the correct amount (based on the number of full-time equivalent employees). Please choose “Commercial organisations / Consultants” if using for this purpose.

Please note: A tiered purchase system ensures a fairer use of the Salary Survey for all and supports the ongoing work of Pro Bono Australia including payment for our Journalists and free News services. This report is available as a digital download only.
