A Network for Not for Profit Board Members

If you hold a voluntary position on a Board or Management Committee of a Not for Profit organisation and still have full time commitments elsewhere you may feel just like Morri Young.
He’s has taken up the voluntary role as chairperson of St Saviours Neighbourhood Centre in Goulburn in NSW and found there are few opportunities to share experiences with other people in similar roles.
So he’s come up with an idea that many other Pro Bono readers might like to repeat in their own areas…. a Network Breakfast where Not for Profit Board Members can get together on a regular basis.
Young says the aim of the breakfast is to:
1. Strengthen local networks
2. Hear from experienced members and other influential stakeholders
3. Learn more about responsibilities and making a useful contribution
4. Recognise those for their contributions to the Not for Profit sector.

Morri Young has organised his own Network Breakfast for Wednesday 29th November at the Furama Central Hotel, 28 Albion Street, Surrey Hills, NSW from 8am to 10am.
The Guest Speaker is John Cloney, Chairman of QBE Insurances and Chairman of the Create Foundation.
For more information or bookings contact Morri Young on 0417 20 70 93 or via e-mail at morri@matrix-os.com.au
