The Organisation
Lifeline is Australia’s leading suicide prevention service. Lifeline has been providing access to crisis support and suicide prevention services for more than 55 years. Every year, over 1 million Australians reach out to Lifeline for support, that equates to one call every 30 seconds.
Lifeline Direct works as a collaboration of local Lifeline centres sharing support services and enabling them to work together in areas that were not previously possible. A subsidiary of Lifeline Australia, the centres deliver the suite of Lifeline’s services across six geographical regions in both NSW and Victoria.

The Role
Working with head office and local teams, you will oversee signature fundraising events raising sponsorship, and community and corporate partnerships. You will support and grow the public interface, community relations and seek out and manage fundraising and partnership opportunities. You will also act as a key ambassador for service delivery within the Northern and Western regions of Melbourne.
Duties will include,
- Developing and managing partner and supporter relationships
- Leveraging and maximizing donor opportunities
- Expanding profile and networks to maintain relationships and knowledge of service offerings
- Maintaining records, assist in analysis of data and trend reporting to inform business initiatives and strategy
Skills Required
Ideally you will have worked in a sponsorship, partnership, fundraising and or events for other charities or not-for-profits, or in a corporate environment. You’re a highly motivated individual who takes the initiative to identify and seize opportunities. You will understand the importance of partnerships and securing sponsorships and donations and not be afraid to ask for a commitment.
