The Opportunity

The strategy and business development lead is responsible for supporting healthAbility’s strategic growth and ongoing business development opportunities.

You will support the GM, Strategy and Growth in the development and implementation of healthAbility’s strategy. By analysing external and internal data and trends and working collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders, you will be able to generate valuable insights and support strategic decision-making for sustainable growth.  

You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective business development strategies, support revenue generation activities, and contribute to the overall success of healthAbility.

If you are purpose-driven, with a background in management consulting, in-house strategy, or business development, and have some knowledge of the public and/or NFP sectors, you will thrive here.

 

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in strategy design and development, business analysis and development or a similar role.
  • Strategic mindset and business acumen with the skills to identify patterns, trends, and insights from research and data to help make informed strategic decisions.
  • Proficiency in using financial modelling tools, spreadsheets, and data analysis software (as required).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey ideas and recommendations to various stakeholders and help advocate for and secure ongoing funding and revenue.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, consumers, and clients.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Purpose driven, and passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of others (no clinical or health background required)
  • Demonstrated proficient computer skills in MS Office applications (TEAMS, Word, and Excel)
  • Experience working in or with health or human services is desirable but not essential.
