About The role
The Regional Manager, NSW West is responsible for developing and delivering on Youth Insearch’s growth across the Western NSW covering the Western NSW and the Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network regions from Wagga Wagga through to Broken Hill across to Lightning Ridge and surrounding areas.

The Regional Manager, NSW West is a new role for Youth Insearch generously funded through philanthropy to expand our Place Based Model (case management, weekend workshops and support groups) across this new region.
  
Initially this role will be responsible for securing funding to deliver 5 Place Based Models across Western NSW over the 2023/24 Financial Year.

With funding for models being secured through High Schools, Primary Health Networks, and community organisations, you will then shift your focus to implement and oversee these services using your strong social work experience to establish and lead the region.
  
While this position is initially funded for 12-months, there is the possibility for extension beyond the initial contract term on the basis of new funding being secured through this role.
  
You will work with a team of Regional Managers who operate across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

Establishing partnerships across the region of organisations where Youth Insearch can embed its fee-for-service Place Based Model to support at-risk young people which includes Individual Case Management, Weekly Support Groups and access to Weekend Workshops, run by fully qualified Social Workers.

Securing new revenue across the region developing and delivering a comprehensive business development pipeline (i.e. high schools, non-profits, PHNs etc…), pitching the Youth Insearch place-based model securing a minimum of 5 fully funded models over the 12-month period. Implementing the model and building a team for each model as it grows.

About Youth Insearch
Youth Insearch is Australia’s most effective peer-led youth trauma recovery organisation. The program empowers young people aged 14 to 20 to turn their disadvantages into their advantages and enables them to reach their full potential. Since establishing in 1985, Youth Insearch has supported 32,000 at-risk youth to overcome their trauma.
  
Key Selection Criteria:
To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following attributes as a minimum.

• BA or Masters of Social Work with 5+ years’ experience in Social Work with experience in tendering, business development, fundraising and/or partnership development roles in similar role
• Understanding of the community services sector and fee for service models
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing on business development pipelines across new regions, securing $1.5M+ p.a. in new business revenue
• Superior communication skills – written, verbal and presentation
• Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously across your role, collaborating closely with internal subject matter experts in the execution of your role i.e. tender proposals, MOUs
• Experience in conducting stakeholder consultation to inform program design & program logic experience would be highly regarded.
• Experience in the use of Case Record Management system, salesforce would be highly desirable.

Essential requirements:
• NSW Working with Children Check for Employment Purposes
• National Police Record Check
• Full vaccination against COVID-19
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Unrestricted and valid Driver’s License
• Ability to travel frequently throughout Western NSW
