We’re looking for a professional Philanthropy Support Officer with relevant experience who wants to join our team of 1500 employees and 1000 volunteers to make a difference on a permanent full-time basis, working 38 hours per week based in Fitzroy.

THE ROLE
The Philanthropy Support Officer is a critical part of BSL’s fundraising team with responsibility for the skilled and thoughtful application of a range of administration, research and reporting systems and tools, and for supporting the management of relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders. These relationships will include existing and prospective donors to the organisation who may be individuals, corporates, granting bodies and community groups.
- Provide administrative and operational support across the fundraising team to identify, develop and maintain positive relationships with donors and strategic partners.
- Support the planning and delivery of key projects that support the operation of a high performing fundraising team.
- Assist with the preparation of any internal and external documents and ensure these are in line with style guide standards as required.
- Demonstrate a commitment to BSL’s quality framework and culture by participating in and promoting quality actions through continual improvement activities.
Salary will be in the range of $79,911.52 – $85,984.15 per annum, based on skills and experience plus superannuation.

To be considered for the role and be successful in it, we’re looking for an who has the following key skills and experiences:
- Suitable administration and/or communications qualifications or relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role supporting a busy team.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships and liaise across all levels both internally, externally and with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated copywriting skills with proven ability to produce report and communication templates, and proof read documents and reports.
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure within a complex portfolio of responsibilities, requiring flexibility and the ability to prioritise workloads, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines)
