Church Partnerships Manager (Ideally speaks Mandarin or Cantonese)

About the Position 
The role is one where you can make a significant difference as part of a team where every position in the organisation supports the mission of ‘Releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ Name’. Reporting to the Church Team Manager (NSW), this role will focus on partnering with culturally and linguistically diverse churches. We are looking for someone who has ministry experience in a Chinese church, has excellent skills and deep experience in building new working relationships with individuals and groups, ability to identify new partnership opportunities and generate leads within the local church context and/or philanthropic fundraising landscape. 
  
Additionally, you will be responsible to ensure the effectiveness of various activities designed to support the Strategic Partnerships Department in order to maximise Compassion Australia’s profile, influence, and impact within New South Wales 
  
About You

You will possess:  

• Exemplary interpersonal skills, including the ability to network with people of diverse ages and backgrounds  
• Exemplary communication skills, including persuasive negotiating and public speaking abilities  
• In-depth knowledge and networks within the local church context and/or philanthropic fundraising landscape. 
• A heart for culturally and linguistically diverse churches 
• Qualifications in Ministry, Sales, Marketing, and/or communications (Highly Desirable)
