Pro Bono Australia has launched an innovative subscriber model delivering online education for the Not for Profit sector in 2014 including a series of high-powered executive webinars.

“Our extensive 2014 Webinar series will provide the very best learning opportunities for organisations, staff and volunteers and promises to deliver a program that tackles the current issues faced by the sector – and it all can be done from your desk,” Pro Bono Australia founder Karen Mahlab said in launching the program.

The first of the 2014 Executive Webinars begins on February 18 in a two-part series on Collective Impact and Collaboration by expert Dawn O’Neil AM.

“In 2014 we have employed the services of some the most senior innovators and thinkers in the sector in Australia to share their learnings in these exclusive webinars," Mahlab said.

“Pro Bono Australia has developed as a hub for the Not for Profit sector since its beginnings in 2000 with the sole focus of giving good value to the people who use our offerings. Our core mission is to assist the sector become more efficient and work more effectively.

“Many people know of Pro Bono Australia through our live news service and thrice weekly email news updates, and 650,000 people used our services last year.

“We’ll be delivering a wide range of webinar topics both paid and free to our subscribers. Generally the paid topics will be pitched at a higher level of '201' or '301' and the free sponsored webinars at a more general level.

“Online education will never replace face to face events, training and conferences but often the cost involved in attending does not deliver value that justifies the time and expense.

“We look forward to showcasing our presenter line-up and engaging the sector in the best online opportunities in 2014,” Mahlab said.
