Australian Charities Fund’s Deputy Chairman and Founding CEO, Greg Hutchinson,  received a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the 2014 Australia Day Honours Awards.

“The ACF board and team are delighted that Greg received an AM in the 2014 Australia Day Honour awards. He received this award for his significant service to the community, to philanthropy, and to business and social enterprise,” CEO of The Australian Charities Fund, Jenny Geddes, said.

“This is an incredibly fitting tribute for all the amazing work Greg does for the community in so many roles.

“Greg is an inspirational leader in both the business and community sectors. ACF continues to be grateful for Greg’s passion and dedicated commitment to furthering the cause of workplace giving across Australia.”

Hutchinson was also a Founding Director for Centre for Social Impact; 2008-2010, Goodstart Early Learning, since 2010; and the Women's Community Shelters, since 2012.

A record number of  Australians received Australia Day honours this year, many for their services to the community, in a celebration that included AFL football star and community leader Adam Goode named Australian of the Year.

From actors to activist, sport champions, medical specialists , community leaders and philanthropists – many recipients are high profile while others are largely unknown to the general community but were awarded for their tireless efforts.
