Reduce Costs by Accessing Local Government Contracts

You may not have heard of Local Government Procurement however it is one organisation that you should be aware of, given the benefits available to Not for Profit organisations.

Best of all, accessing these benefits is free!

Local Government Procurement is an organisation legislated under the NSW Local Government Act. The organisation was created in order to assist every council in New South Wales with the procurement of commonly used goods and services, including stationery, small plant, playgrounds and more.

As a result, Local Government Procurement brings together the aggregated buying power of every council in New South Wales, resulting in value for money products and services that your organisation can now benefit from.

The combined buying power of councils to achieve significant savings is particularly apparent for Electricity. When councils combine their electricity loads and collectively seek quotes from the market, it has been demonstrated on every occasion that large discounts have been achieved.

Not for Profit organisations are eligible to participate in electricity contracts and an information session will be held in Sydney on Thursday 19 November 2015.
