Developed for chairpersons, board members, CEOs and managers, Leadership Victoria’s NFP Board C21: A Brave New World conference in Melbourne in July is set to help established leaders take their Not for Profits into the future.
Conference topics will include leading in the face of sector reform, positioning boards for sustainability, leading through change and dealing with funding instability. The two-day program features Susan Pascoe AM (Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commissioner), Geoff Donovan (Chair, EW Tipping Foundation), Clare Amies (Director, Reach Foundation) and many more.
Keynote speakers and panel discussions will be complemented by a series of interactive workshops, peer consultation and Creative Leadership Conversations with experts to help attendees tackle current and potential challenges..
Day one will start with a conversation setting the scene on the value and impact of NFPs and their Board leadership, and continue with a discussion of challenges for today’s NFP Boards and how they can be met.
Other topics will include learnings from the corporate world, sector reform and the danger of risk aversion. Participants will also have a chance to apply their learnings to real-life situations using the peer consultation method.
The second day will include discussion on the future of funding, leading through digital disruption, planning for an uncertain future and evaluation and measurement for boards.
Local, accessible and insightful, this program will help established Not for Profit leaders maximise the impact of their leadership, apply strategies that will most benefit their boards and lead their organisations confidently into the changing times ahead.
The Conference will take place on Friday 24th July and Saturday 25th July at Rydges Melbourne in the heart of the city.
