Last Call for Expressions of Interest for $100,000 Grant

Victorian charities are being urged to submit Expressions of Interest to be part of this year’s Impact100 Melbourne Grant Program which closes Friday June 5.

The organisation says it has received only three expressions received so far, and the Committee is hoping more charities will take the time to review the guidelines and lodge the very simple EOI form.

This year’s theme is ‘An Educated Future: Creating learning and earning opportunities for Melbourne's youth’, and evidence-based programs that are benefiting youth aged between 12-25 year old are welcome to apply.

“The process is very simple, and no more than 200 words are required at this stage. We just want to know at this stage – what is the project, and who is the organisation behind it,” Committee Member of Impact100 Melbourne, Rikki Andrews said.

Guidelines and the application form are available at www.impact100melbourne.org.

Previous winners were River Nile Learning Centre in 2013 (theme of migrants/refugees), and McAuley Community Services for Women in 2014 (theme of homelessness)

Impact100 Melbourne is based on a successful global giving circle model, and comprises 100 Members donating $1000 each, which culminates in a $100,000 high-impact annual grant.Since 2012, the Impact100 giving circles across Australia have collectively donated more than $1 million to local charities.
