Not for Profit organisations from across Australia have shared in $1 million worth of grants from National Australia Bank.

The 26 organisations were announced at the end of NAB’s second annual Community Grants Program last night.

Winners included Open Family Australia, The Reach Foundation. Good Shepherd Australia New Zealand and Indigenous Community Volunteers, which all walked away with $50,000 each.

NAB said the grants reflected the bank’s commitment to investing in groups that tackle local issues to further develop a socially inclusive society, where difference is respected and all people can live a life of dignity.

Head of Social Impact & Community Engagement, Rebecca Kotow, said the grants would contribute to building prosperous communities.

“We see the significant impact that community and charitable organisations are making every day and we are focused on playing a part in helping our Not for Profit customers make an even bigger difference,” Kotow said.
