FIA Fundraising Conference: Book Now!
11 February 2014 at 9:18 am

Time is running out to book tickets to the Fundraising Institute Australia’s (FIA) 37th international fundraising conference, held in Melbourne in just two weeks.

The FIA says that the conference, on February 26-28th, promises to give fundraisers the skills, confidence and inspiration to drive their fundraising program – and their fundraising career – to new heights.

  • Pick the brains of talented fundraisers on the latest trends, issues and challenges facing the sector
  • Network with some of the sector’s biggest and brightest
  • Leave with practical knowledge and skills to shape your fundraising program into the best it can be.

Keynote presenters Alan Clayton from Clayton Burnett in the UK and Tim Costello from World Vision Australia, lead an impressive line-up of speakers who will be tackling fundraising’s hard questions.

Clayton is a world-leading fundraising consultant, strategist and motivational speaker who has worked with over 250 Not for Profit clients. He specialises in creative strategy and donor insights and motivation. Alan is going to show delegates how to find a simple emotional proposition that will help transform their fundraising program.

Tim Costello is a well-known and highly respected Australian Not for Profit leader and an expert on the challenges facing our sector. Under Costello’s leadership, World Vision raised more than $100m for the Boxing Day tsunami relief effort in 2004. He will be presenting the Syd Herron Oration on Day 1 of the conference.

The 2014 Conference program has been designed around 6 core areas giving delegates the opportunity to focus on one, or spread their time finding the answers to a range of questions.

Management

Small Organisations

Donor Accountability and Stewardship

Digital and Social Media

Core Fundraising

Fringe

This year delegates also have the chance to book in for a FREE personalised clinic with a fundraising expert. However places are limited and filling fast, so book soon.

The FIA Conference is  the place to get the skills, confidence and inspiration to take an organisation’s fundraising program further.

Great discounts are available for FIA Members, and when booking a group of 5 or more.

Be a VIP at the sector’s night of nights

In addition to an extensive conference program, delegates will have the opportunity to network with sector colleagues at a range of social events. These include being a VIP for the night at the Fundraisers’ Gala Awards Dinner, featuring a Studio 54 disco theme.

Hosted by singer, dancer, actor and all round entertainer Tim Campbell, the dinner is a night of celebration – the sector's night of nights, where outstanding fundraising is recognised with the announcement of the winners of FIA’s National Awards for Excellence in Fundraising, before guests groove the night away with a live band.

Delegates can also save over $75 on their Gala Awards Dinner ticket when purchasing a Conference and Dinner Package.

FIA Conference – The Answers Are Here. Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, South Wharf, Melbourne 26 – 28 February, 2014.
