NFP Veteran to Chair Drink-Giant Foundation

The Coca-Cola Australia Foundation (CCAF) has appointed Not for Profit veteran, Julie White as its new Chair following the retirement of James Bird.
With more than 30 years experience working with both Not for Profits and corporate organisations, White has considerable expertise within the philanthropic and NFP sectors.
White is also a non- executive director on Social Enterprise Finance Australia, Inspire Foundation, Women’s Community Shelters and is Chair of Dana Asia.
In her new role as Chair, White will lead the Coca-Cola Australia Foundation board, as well as the CCAF Advisory Council. She says she plans to visit communities and organisations supported by CCAF in the coming year.
The CCAF, which is jointly funded by Coca-Cola Amatil and The Coca-Cola Company, helps support young Australians who are facing major social, physical and economic challenges in their lives. It funds programs run by community organisations, charities and Non Government Organisations (NGOs).

Outgoing Chairman James Bird held the Chairman role for CCAF since 2005.
