Brand Management in the Third Sector
24 July 2012 at 12:25 pm
A seminar on brand management for the Not for Profit sector is being hosted by The Macquarie Graduate School of Management in NSW.
As the demand for Not for Profit services and activities increases the sources of funding and support has in some cases diminished. These opposing forces present both a challenge and an opportunity for Not for Profit leaders to re-visit and re-vision changes that will better enable their organisation to deliver long-term sustainable value creation.

The presenter Professor Richard Ettenson, a Visiting Fellow to the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM), is an award winning academic and consultant.
Professor Ettenson has been helping world class companies and Not for Profit organisations on five continents create superior business value through the alignment of their business, marketing and brand strategies.
In the seminar Professor Ettenson will provide an opportunity to reflect and appreciate the value of a strong brand in the Not for Profit sector. Leaders across all functional areas of the organisation will benefit from practical and managerial orientation to better understand the value of developing and managing a strong Not for Profit brand.
He will focus on how your brand is a valuable asset, one that is likely underdeveloped and underleveraged. When managed properly, it can contribute to your organisation’s success.
Specifically, attendees will utilise leading-edge managerial frameworks to:
- Explore the domain of brands and their role in the Not for Profit sector
- Understand the value strong brands deliver to Not for Profit organisations in today’s hyper-competitive environment
- Learn how effective managers leverage their brands, both internally and externally, to achieve organisational goals.
