Foundation Announces New Fund

Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) Australia is launching a new fund to help Not for Profits with their online and fundraising activities.
The new ‘CAF Development Fund’ will be directed to “fundraising infrastructure such as an efficient online giving platform and improved reporting to help charities with fundraising and marketing,” said CAF chief executive Don Willesee.
“CAF is the charity in the middle – providing foundation structures, grant making and workplace giving programs to efficiently transfer donor’s money to their favourite charities.”
CAF Australia has “collected and granted over $100 million in just over 10 years to more than 3000 charitable organisations in Australia and overseas, according to Willesee.
He added that “for every dollar invested in CAF’s infrastructure, $13 is granted to Australian and international charities”.
All donations to the new fund are tax deductible, Willesee said.
