Hundreds of ‘Women in PR’ will get together in Melbourne in May to keep up with what’s making news as well as having the chance to give back to the community.

With the theme of Clearing through the Content Clutter, the ‘Women in PR” Forum attracts 250 leading public relations practitioners (many in the Not for Profit sector) and their clients, to keep up to speed with who’s making it in news and how to create compelling stories that break through the information clutter.

The event’s aim is to honour and celebrate the achievements of women (and men) in PR and be a vehicle for the profession to give back to the community.

This high profile event is organised by the Women in PR Committee and Public Relations Institute of Australia and it will be held on Friday May 11 at Showtime Events, South Wharf.

Funds raised on the day will benefit the Reach Foundation’s Birdcage program (for teenage girls).

A panel of three media experts from Channel 9, ABC Radio and The Age have been invited to tackle the topic: Cutting through the Content Clutter . . . From Twitter to YouTube to Tablets to Tuning in.
