Google Repeats Free Info Sessions for Australian NFPs

International search engine giant, Google is planning a series of free information sessions designed for Australian Not for Profit organisations, following the success of trial workshops last year.

Aimed at educating Not for Profit staff about the products, services and support Google can offer, the workshops are delivered by Google employee volunteers and are designed to provide a broad, high level overview of Google’s Not for Profit solutions.

Organisers says the sessions are suited best to leaders from charitable organisations who are interested in gaining an understanding of how Google technology can assist in making their organisation more effective.

The sessions will include everything from Gmail and Blogger, to Youtube, Maps and the Google Grants programme.

Sessions are limited to 50 people, with only one person from an organisation able to attend each event.

The sessions will take place in Sydney, Parkes, Melbourne, Canberra and Brisbane from February to September – details below.
