CBA 2010 Community Grants Program

The Commonwealth Bank Staff Community Fund is set to deliver more than half a million dollars in its 2010 Community Grants Program.
Applications are now open for the 2010 Community Grants Program which supports initiatives that improve the health and wellbeing of Australian children, awarding community groups grants of up to $10,000 to fund programs that will directly benefit local communities.
In 2010 a total of $550,000 will be allocated in individual grants of up to $10,000.
The Staff Community Fund is one of Australia’s longest running employee contribution programs helping Australian kids since 1917.
The Commonwealth Bank says today over 6,000 current and retired Bank staff donate to the Fund with every dollar in the Fund going to charities and organisations that support children in need. Since the first Grants Round in 2007, the Program has provided over two million dollars to over 250 charities around Australia.
To be eligible to apply, organisation need to:
- Support the health and well being of Australian children
- Identify realistic, measurable and achievable project goals and outcomes
- Be endorsed by the Australian Tax Office with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status.
Only applications lodged via the online application form by the published closing date will be eligible for assessment.
