IT Project Assistance Offered to Melbourne NFPs
21 December 2009 at 2:26 pm
The project involves teams of 6 final year Department of Information Systems students working with organisations for 12 weeks to develop solutions and products specific to the organisations needs.
2010 will be the final time the projects will be offered. Since Pro Bono Australia first advertised the projects in 2003, organisations such as the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Brotherhood of St Laurence, St Vincent de Paul, the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre and many others have been able to receive free assistance from highly trained IT students.
