Want to accelerate your career, strengthen your management capabilities, or fortify your credentials as a specialist in the philanthropic and nonprofit sector? Whatever your objective, QUT’s industry-recognised Graduate Certificate in Business (Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies) is a great investment in your future.

Learn from lecturers who are leaders in research relevant to the field; and have real world experience and current engagement in the philanthropic and nonprofit sector through QUT’s Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies (CPNS).

Our program allows you to build your professional knowledge and skills in focal nonprofit topics, including governance, management, ethical practices, legal issues, fundraising, accounting, marketing, and social enterprise.

You will unravel the mysteries of fundraising and alternative income generation.  You will learn how to build sustainable governance; master risk; comprehend tax exemptions, deductions and nonprofit corporate structures; tame management and financial accounts; as well as managing staff and volunteers ethically.

We offer a flexible course structure that allows study to fit into your busy life:

· Seven-week teaching periods cover a greater breadth of topics

· Available on-campus or through flexible delivery mode for distance students

· Teaching materials available via online learning sites
