Legal Partnership Assists Australian Seniors

Slater & Gordon Managing Director Andrew Grech says the new partnership will give NSA members access to the firm’s specialised legal services at affordable prices.
Grech says Slater & Gordon has a strong history of working with various membership groups, such as unions and Not for Profit organisations to give average Australians access to high quality legal services. Working with senior Australians through this partnership with National Seniors is a natural extension of that philosophy.
He says NSA members would receive priority access to the firm’s specialised legal services and in many instances would receive discounted services, from reduced hourly rates to free initial consultations.
Slater & Gordon has created a dedicated 1800 phone number for the new service and appointed a staff member in each State to oversee the delivery of services to NSA members.
National Seniors Australia chief executive Michael O’Neill says the organisation represents people aged 50 years and over and is the largest of its kind in Australia with a membership of 295,000 and growing.
O’Neill says legal services sometimes have a reputation for being out of the ordinary senior’s reach, so they are pleased to offer our members an affordable yet specialised service.
NSA is a Not for Profit membership based community organisation which provides economic and social benefits for its members. The membership is divided between those in the workforce, age and carer pensioners and self funded retirees.
