The 2008/09 PricewaterhouseCoopers Transparency Awards are now open for registration.
As part of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ support for the improvement of transparency and quality of reporting in the Not for Profit sector, PwC has collaborated with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and the Centre for Social Impact to launch the 2008/09 PwC Transparency Awards.
The Transparency Awards give Not for Profit organisations an opportunity to prove that they take the issue of transparency and quality of reporting seriously.
Mike Wilson, Chief Executive Officer, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, inaugural winner of the 2007 PwC Transparency Awards, says initiatives like this draw attention to the importance of reporting in the Not for Profit sector.
Wilson says JDRF benefited from the individual feedback report received which has helped it further improve the quality of our reporting.
To be a part of these Awards and receive individual feedback on how to improve your organisation’s reporting, register on-line at www.pwc.com/au/transparencyawards by 5pm Friday 7 November 2008.
