NFPs Working with the Corporate Sector -Take the Survey
21 April 2008 at 3:07 pm
The Centre for Corporate Public Affairs has been commissioned by the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs to undertake a major study into Australian Not for Profit organisations and corporate community investment.
The purpose is to better understand how to facilitate business engagement with Not for Profit organisations and optimise the contribution of business to Not for Profit work.
This follows a report the Centre completed in 2007, entitled ‘Corporate Community Investment in Australia’ which included input from 110 companies via online survey, workshops and submission of materials. (This report is available as a free download at www.accpa.com.au )
The Centre is seeking input from Not for Profit organisations in determining the key issues, success factors and future challenges that exist in working with business.
To ensure the research includes as broad a cross-section of the sector as possible, the Centre is inviting all Not for Profit organisations to participate in an online survey.
The study will be completed by mid-2008 and hard copies of the report will be distributed to all participants.
The Centre believes that the research will be a valuable contribution to the not-for-profit sector in Australia, and enable more fruitful relationships between the not-for-profit and corporate sectors.
The survey includes the following sections:
– Section 1 – Corporate Community Investment and its relevance to your organisation
– Section 2 – Sources of income
– Section 3 – Modus operandi
– Section 4 – Working with business
– Section 5 – Your organisation
The survey will be conducted by an independent market research company and data will be collected on an independent, secure site operated by the Values Bank Research Centre www.valuesbank.com.au.
It will take about 15-20 minutes to fill out the survey. The survey can be accessed and completed at http://live.everyonecounts.com.au/app/367/363
