New Award for Excellence in Corporate Volunteering
30 April 2007 at 12:19 pm
As part of the 2007 NAB Volunteer Awards, Volunteering Australia has introduced a new national award that recognises excellence in employer-supported volunteering programs.
Nominations can be made from any employer that can demonstrate their commitment to the community through their employee volunteering program.
The award will recognise best practice within Australia’s corporate volunteer programs. The award prize of $5,000, funded by NAB, will be donated to the Not for Profit organisation of the winning organisation’s choice.
This new award will be presented at the 2007 NAB Volunteer Awards national ceremony in October.

The award will be judged by Volunteering Australia and a select panel of corporate volunteering experts.
If the business or organisation is national and operates from different sites, only one nomination will be accepted and it must be from the head office. However, the nomination can include reference to the activities and practices of the different office locations.
