"Getting To Yes" CMA Workshops - Free NFP Offer
8 September 2008 at 4:06 pm
CMA, a national training organisation based in Melbourne, is showing their dedication to helping Not for Profits improve their negotiation skills by offering free workshops to Pro Bono Australia readers who work for Not for Profit organisations.
CMA is committed to donating services to the value of a percentage of their business revenue. As a result they are offering employees and regular ongoing volunteers working for charity driven organisations to attend their 2-day ‘Getting to Yes workshop’ as their guest.
About CMA
CMA assists organisations to significantly enhance business results and relationships through increasing the effectiveness of negotiations and key communications.
CMA aims to offer skills which make a real difference to the individuals who attend as well as the organisations they work for. Participants leave the workshops with an understanding of how to create better relationships and communicate within them, including the world of fundraising, stakeholder management – any key relationship management.
Getting to Yes
Learn additional strategies and practise advanced communication techniques for dealing with the toughest negotiation challenges. Applying techniques developed at Harvard University, this workshop provides a structured and strategic approach for achieving maximum value outcomes while forging more cooperative negotiating relationships.
Training offer for Pro Bono Australia Readers
The workshop, usually charged at $1,455 per participant is being offered at no fee. CMA’s next workshop offered will run on Thursday 16 & Friday 17 October. There is no catch and no follow up (unless you request it). To date, participants have been invited on the basis of nominations by CMA’s clients and staff.
Feedback from past participants
The feedback from NFP representatives in the past has been resoundingly appreciative with expectations well exceeded.
If you only do one item of professional development each year put ‘ Getting to Yes’ at the top of your list. Not only will it provide you with the process to conduct highly effective negotiations for both parties, it will have a positive impact on all your relationships.
