Volunteer Australia's National Policy Survey
30 January 2006 at 12:01 pm
Volunteering Australia has launched its first Annual Policy Survey for volunteers and Not for Profit organisations who involve volunteers.
The (anonymous) survey takes about 10-15 minutes to complete and all volunteers, whether they are corporate or private individuals, NFP organisations that involve volunteers and volunteer centres are invited to take part.
The survey explores various volunteering issues, including how organisations experience legal/regulatory requirements.
The survey also considers organisational and volunteer experience of volunteer management policies implemented by Not for Profit organisations.
The survey will run until early February. The survey can be accessed at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=512761604592 .
The results will be compiled into a public report that will be released in the first half of 2006 and which Volunteering Australia will make available from its website.
The results will support the work of Volunteering Australia in advocating for outcomes that best support volunteering.
Paper (hard) copies of the survey can be provided on request to Louise Mitchell,Policy Officer, Volunteering Australia on 03 9820 4100 or via email to louisem@volunteeringaustralia.org.
