The event provides the opportunity for the investment community to recognise achievers in corporate sustainability throughout 2005, and provides a focal point for media coverage of corporate sustainability issues.

Further, the Awards are recognised as the only Australian Awards that take a broad view of Sustainability, bringing together and recognising a variety of positive contributors to sustainability issues in the community including investors, corporates, Not for Profit organisations and government agencies.

The 2005 Australian Sustainability Awards will be the biggest and best with some 350-400 guests expected in conjunction with a broader media and promotional campaign, which will lift the profile of corporate social and environmental sustainability as well as good corporate governance across Australia.
