A national call centre training organisation is looking to Not for Profit organisations in Brisbane and regional Queensland who can offer voluntary work experience for new graduates.
The People Matrix Groups is wanting to place graduates from its JumpStart program into Not for Profit call centres where they can gain valuable work experience as volunteers.
Melbourne graduates have already volunteered through call centres at Oxfam Community Aid Abroad.
People Matrix Group is a registered training organisation specialising in contact centre training, consulting and recruitment. They assist individuals, teams and organisations in call and contact centre and help desk operations.
The nationally accredited JumpStart program was launched in Melbourne in 2003 to train people from a diverse age group for employment and includes long-term unemployed people in the contact centre industry (formally known as the call centre industry).
Training and Development Manager, Michelle Heriot says the program’s success rate of securing sustainable employment for job seekers has reached 90% and with this level of success the program has been introduced into Brisbane.
