Corporate Social Investment Conference Advertorial

Developing effective corporate community engagement strategies to drive business performance is the theme of a two-day conference in Sydney in November presented by event organisers IQPC. Registrations close shortly so be quick to ensure your place.

Some companies are embracing corporate social investment (CSI) and the concept of giving back to the community without looking for commercial return, while others are taking a more strategic approach to the efforts.

IQPC says that by recognising that benefiting the community can also lead to realising company business goals and long-term sustainability, corporate social investment can be seen as a competitive advantage.

By attending IQPC’s conference, your company can learn how to become a responsible organisation and harness the rewards of CSI.

The event will include a panel of expert speakers who will use case study analysis to address topics such as:
– driving a business case for becoming a socially responsible organisation
– capitalising on corporate and Not for Profit partnerships
– how to successfully select and implement your own CSI project
– the ethical perspective of responding to your stakeholders needs
– how to measure the result of your CSI initiatives
– mitigating risk to your organisation through strategic stakeholder management.

The long list of experts include Denis Tracey, the Deputy Director of the Asia Pacific Centre for Philanthropy and Social Investment; Glennys Purcell, the Director of the Prime Minister’s Community Business Partnership Secretariat; Kate Meyers, from Nike Pacific; Warren Lee from Good Company Sydney; and Geraldine Skinner, the head of Corporate Responsibility at the Westpac Banking Corporation

The event will be held at the Sydney Boulevard on the 24th and 25th November, with a post-conference workshop on Wednesday 26th November.

Day three can be booked separately or in combination with the main conference. Topics include the legal aspects of corporate community partnerships and securing the perfect partner for a powerful cause related marketing project!
