The Law and Justice Foundation of NSW is now calling for nominations for the 2003 Justice Awards.
Now in their fifth year, the Justice Awards recognise the contributions individuals have made to improving access to justice in NSW, particularly for socially and economically disadvantaged people.
This year, Awards include the Justice Medal, the Aboriginal Justice Award, the Law and Justice Volunteer Award and the Combined Community Legal Centres Group Award.
Director of the Law and Justice Foundation Geoff Mulherin says that the Awards aim to recognise the achievements of people working in the ‘coalface’ of access to justice.
Mulherin says the Justice Awards nomination process provides a great opportunity to showcase the achievements and dedication of those colleagues working to improve access to justice, as well as to highlight important legal issues.
