Book Of the Board: Your Questions Answered Online
10 June 2003 at 1:06 pm

Issues of governance have been critically highlighted in our recent story on the new Australian publication called “The Book of the Board” – and now you can have your questions answered online this Wednesday 11th June.

Following the enormous response to the story and the number of Not for Profits that entered our book competition, author David Fishel has kindly agreed to chat with our readers in our online Forum.

David will check your questions and comments between 0900 and 1700 (EST) on Wednesday 11th of June and respond throughout the day.

Issues of board structure, the role of the CEO and the Board Chair, and accountability were all raised in e-mails from our readers. If you would like to hear from the expert here is your chance to do so.

Simply click on Forum in the menu across the top of this page.

You can still obtain a discount order form for this publication by sending us an e-mail to probono@probonoaustralia.com.au

The team here at Pro Bono Australia was been overwhelmed by the response to the story on the “The Book of the Board”.

And judging by those who entered our competition, the issues surrounding governance are a top priority. We thank the publishers, Federation Press and the author, David Fishel, and Karen Mahlab for providing the free copies. For those who did not win, the brochure available by e-mailing us offers a discount price of $44 plus postage.

And while we would love to be able to give away many more books, the 3 winners are: Kerry Mordaunt of Cystic Fibrosis WA, Gareth Wreford of DADAA National Network in NSW and Justin Chubb from SPAN Community House in Victoria.

Congratulations!
