Corporate Communications Summit 2003 - Advertorial

How can communication add value to your organisation? And how can you develop a Corporate Citizenship framework or an effective reputation management tool?

These are just a few of the big questions being addressed at the Corporate Communications Summit in Melbourne in February 2003. And there is still time to register to attend.

The Summit has been researched and developed by the International Quality & Productivity Centre (IQPC) for General Managers, Group Managers and managers of Communications, Corporate Affairs, Public Relations, Corporate Citizenship, Marketing and Stakeholder Relations within companies.

The Summit is structured to include a series of case studies relevant to both the internal and external communications professionals on Day One and will divide into two separate streams on Day Two.

The case studies will be presented by leading Australian and International organisations offering clear insights into performance driven corporate communications strategies and provide examples and solutions that can be tailored to your organisation.

Sue Driscoll, the Victorian President of the Public Relations Institute of Australia, and principal at Porter Novelli, will deliver the keynote address. International case studies will come from Patricia Overend, the Communications Officer of the World Bank (USA) and Mark Harrison, the Media Relations Manager of the UK car company MINI.

Harrison will discuss his award winning public relations campaign via an international video link-up.

Two important pre-Summit workshops will look at how to develop a Corporate Citizenship framework as well as developing an effective reputation management tool.

The corporate citizenship workshop leader will be Gary Cazalet, the founding Director of Corporate Citizenship Consulting. He is a professional associate of the St. James Ethics centre and a former member of the Victorian bar.

The second workshop leader will be Gary Neat, the Managing Director of the ADSHAN Group as well as the President of the Australian Institute of Management.

Pro Bono Australia’s Corporate Community e-Newsletter is an official publication for this major event.
