Each Victorian State Government Department has been asked to nominate long-standing and long-serving volunteers to attend a special IYV celebration at Government House at the end of July.

The Governor’s International Year of Volunteers function will honour about 800 Victorians both young and old who have outstanding records in volunteering.

The nominations list was delivered to the IYV Secretariat on Sunday June 10th – so the only thing to do is watch for the postie with your invitation!

If you are one of those nominated why not tell us your story via e-mail to probono@probonoaustralia.com.au. Otherwise we would love to hear about the celebration too! And what is happening in other states!
