Have you ever wondered why some charity-based, or fund raising stories make it onto the evening television news or feature on talk-back radio and why others are tossed aside without a second glance?
Understanding the media and having a relationship with those involved in it is the key to success- spreading your message to the public in a manner that your organisation couldn’t pay for in advertising and campaign fees.
With this in mind, Pro Bono Australia is offering Media and Publicity Training Courses aimed at helping your organisation stretch its campaign dollar further.
Organised and presented by a team of award winning media and publicity specialists, the courses will focus on understanding the needs of journalists, preparing and implementing a media strategy and workshopping special events, as well as learning how to become a polished media ‘performer’. A very hands on and practical experience with print, radio and television.
The Training Programs have been specifically developed and priced for the Not for Profit sector. For more information on the Melbourne dates in November, e-mail us at probono@probonoaustralia.com.au.
Other courses will be made available in other states, so let us know if you are interested.
