The international environment group Greenpeace has offered all manner of information on its ever-expanding Internet sites and web pages from fundraising tips, lobbying politicians, organising non-violent actions and now a True Food Shopping List.
Greenpeace says it has produced the first ever guide to avoiding genetically engineered food and while many governments around the world may be reluctant to label these foods, those at Greenpeace have simply posted the information themselves.
On their web site called www.truefoodnow.org the Not for Profit lists thousands of companies and their brand name foods that do and don’t use bio-engineered ingredients.
Everything from baby food to canned beans! Very enlightening.
