There are no lifelines, you can’t phone a friend and you won’t win a million dollars, but it is a major fundraising night for the Brain Foundation at Melbourne’s toughest quiz.

Mastermind – The Bang & Olufsen Tournament 2000 is about to test the intelligence of some of Melbourne’s sharpest minds.

KPMG puts the questions together and provides the scrutineers at the dinner and, as in the past four years, the questions will cover everything from the arts and sport to medicine and history.

For the Brain Foundation the event is a stroke of brilliance! Sponsor, Bang & Olufsen, sees the quiz as a perfect match for their brand, which is world renowned for intelligent entertainment systems.

The Brain Foundation raises funds for research into the prevention of stroke and provides support for people who have acquired brain injury and their carers.

The Master of Ceremonies is Professor John Funder, Director of the Baker Institute.

It’s on Thursday 5 October 2000 at the Hotel Sofitel, 25 Collins Street, Melbourne. Tickets are $130 per head, telephone 9882 2203 for bookings.
