A Stroll Up Australia

Some people will push themselves to amazing heights for a good cause. Sydneysider, Mark Virtue is literally going to dizzy heights for his cause. On Monday 19th of June he began walking from the lowest point in Australia to the highest so that he can raise money for the homeless.

Virtue started at the bottom of the Sydney Harbour Tunnel and should reach the peak of Mount Kosciusko around the 8th of July. He will have travelled 560 kilometres to a height of 2255 metres. All the money he raises will go to the Sydney City Mission’s homeless programs.

He admits he’s a bit of a techno-geek and is carrying a hand held computer and digital camera so that he can update his web site daily.
