The Organisation
Our Watch is a national leader in the primary prevention of violence against women and their children. The Position
Reporting to the Head of People and Culture the Learning & Development Business Partner will have end-to-end responsibility for managing the Our Watch non-technical learning curriculum including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of programs. This role will suit a generalist who is equally comfortable doing learning design, facilitation, coaching, and administrative learning management. This position will join a passionate People and Culture team who are finalists in two excellence awards in the upcoming 2023 HR Awards (award categories are “Employer of Choice” and “Best Flexibility Program”).

The key responsibilities for this role include:
  • Develop and operationalise an Our Watch capability framework 
  • Design, develop and deliver engaging training programs and other learning activities
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify learning goals and objectives and deliver effective solutions including working with external partners
  • Own the Our Watch employee induction experience
  • Manage central training budget and specialised learning funds
  • Other organisational development projects and initiatives as required
The Person
To be successful in this role you will have: 
  • Tertiary qualifications of relevance, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with a range of stakeholders, and communicating and engaging with diverse groups
  • Demonstrated ability to support effective leadership and management coaching.
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and behaviour to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in a culturally respectful way, or the capacity to develop these
