About the role
This is a unique and challenging opportunity to join the NSW Trustee & Guardian to lead the delivery of a professional and customer-focused Estate Administration service.
- Ongoing full-time vacancy. 35 hours per week.
- Parramatta location with flexible and hybrid working option
- Offering a competitive base salary of $134,411 up to $155,445 plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
About the team
The Estate Planning & Administration division is responsible for delivering NSW Trustee & Guardian’s commercial services in wills and estate planning, trustee and attorney services, and estate administration services in relation to deceased estates. The team provides these services in accordance with legal duties and obligations and internal policy and procedures.
About the role
This senior leadership role will oversee the delivery of our Estate Administration services with a focus on people leadership, risk and compliance, customer service and strategy. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of an outstanding and professional estate administration service in accordance with legal obligations and internal policies and procedures.
Reporting to the Director, of Estate Planning and Administration, you’ll be a senior SME for our Estates Administration services, providing strategic and operational advice, driving a customer-focused culture, recommending, reviewing and implementing policies and effecting operational improvements.

About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Leadership experience and people management at a senior level, including driving a proactive customer service culture
- Experience in the delivery of high-quality customer-focused outcomes in professional services
- Strong knowledge and experience in estate administration or trustee services
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the legal framework governing the administration of estates
- Strong understanding of NSW Trustee & Guardian’s key services, customer base and regulatory environment
- Ability to assess and manage risks
Essential requirements
- Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience in a relevant discipline or industry, such as legal, finance, accounting, and/or government.
- Current driver’s licence with a willingness to travel across NSW as required.
- Up to date COVID-19 vaccination status and able to provide acceptable proof.
