About the role
This position will be for 22.8 hours per week (3 day) supporting the needs of CALD carer’s who are caring for a person living with Dementia at home.
We are seeking an outstanding Respite Centre Coordinator who can demonstrate:
Key Responsibilities include:
- Manage client and carer’s needs assessments, reassessments, and regular care plan reviews.
- Organise and provide structured group activities and day outings to clients to develop, maintain and support their independent living, social interaction, and social experience
- Supervising Respite workers and volunteers who assist in the program.
Key selection criteria include:
- Relevant experience in working with high care need people is preferable.
- Ability to negotiate and gain co-operation and support from others in a team environment.
- Relevant qualifications in community development, community services, nursing, Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent.
