This is a unique opportunity to join the national peak body organisation at the start of the journey, as they work to grow and strengthen the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander housing sector. A career with real impact is available to the successful candidates, who will have the opportunity to thrive with NATSIHA and deliver tangible results.
NATSIHA will lead the way in implementing an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Housing Data Strategy that is underpinned by the principles of Indigenous Data Sovereignty and will support capability building across the sector to harness data as a cultural, strategic and economic asset.
About the role
We are now partnering to appoint to a number of roles across the organisation in the following areas:
- Research and data analysts
- Marketing and communications managers and coordinators
- Policy and project officers
- Business case, funding applications and quality writers
- Governance and compliance support
- Administration support
We are calling for expressions of interest from Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal persons to submit their latest resume and a covering letter outlining a summary of why you would like to join NATSIHA. There is also a set of screening questions to complete to give us an idea of your location, salary expectations amongst other things.
The successful candidates will demonstrate the highest level of ethics and integrity and be committed to improving the housing circumstances of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
The roles can be based anywhere in Australia. We strongly encourage applications from First Nation’s Peoples. NATSIHA is aiming for a 70% Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander workforce.
