About the role
Leadership role, key member of the Senior Leadership Team
0.6 – 0.8 FTE, with flexibility to work from our Melbourne office / hybrid

Salary $130K – $140K FTE depending on experience, plus super
This position would suit an experienced finance or operational executive with the drive to support BZE with its next phase of growth. We are looking for a can-do attitude where no job is too big or too small, and someone who can work under their own initiative to:
- Develop and manage a best practice finance function. This requires the technical expertise and ability to take ownership of the end-to-end finance function including analysis, management reporting, donor compliance and finance business support.
- Manage the end to end business planning and annual budget process
- Implement and embed a risk management framework across the organisation, including establishing appropriate policies, procedures and ensuring all compliance obligations are met
- Manage the day to day HR, ICT and Operational functions
- Undertake the Company Secretariat function, including preparation of Board papers, minutes of meetings and ensuring the functioning of the Board and Board sub committees
- Be a key component of the leadership team providing strategic insight
