About the role:

We are looking for a professional and dynamic Executive Manager Aged and Community Care to join our team. This is a strategically significant management role with cross-divisional responsibilities for the growth and development of Doutta Galla Community Service programs with diversified funding streams. Providing leadership and operational management, the role ensures implementation of innovative programs to meet community needs, service compliance, accreditation standards and delivery of high-quality customer service to existing and potential clients and residents.

You will contribute by:

  • Leading and coordinating the development of strategic, business and operational plans and budgets for care services in consultation with the Extended Care Services General Manager.
  • Ensuring Person Centred Care and Consumer Directed Care principles are embedded in the service delivery approach and there is a strong emphasis on consumer participation and feedback.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of processes for management of client agreements including case management, execution and management of deliverables.
  • Engaging with internal stakeholders and team members in a change management approach to support service integration and new service implementation.
  • Regularly reviewing opportunities for service expansion, including the writing of tender documentation, applications for funding and pricing.

 You will bring:

  • Experience at a senior management level establishing, managing, and growing services in aged care/community environment.
  • Strong business acumen skills, able to understand business issues, adapt and remain flexible during times of change, comprehend business operations, and provide quality insight as to how to achieve goals and ensure service and organisation success.
  • Highly developed collaboration, negotiation, relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Management, Business, Allied Health, Community Services or equivalent with subsequent relevant experience in a similar position.
