About the role

The Uniting Church in Australia, Synod of Victoria and Tasmania, has a new opportunity available for a capable administrator to join our team as an Executive Assistant.

The Executive Assistant provides administrative services to support the role of the Executive Officer eLM (the equipping Leadership for Mission unit). This includes calendar management, travel bookings, and timely administration for a range of committees meetings, gatherings and task groups.

The role maintains effective filing and record keeping, including the maintenance of client records in the CRM and other recording keeping systems.

The role also assists the Head of Pilgrim Theological College with administration, and supports the development and implementation of an effective candidate system for UCA ministers in formation.

The role delivers timely and professional preparation of all reports, correspondence, minutes and other documents, and may work as part of a team on promotion/marketing activities.

About you (Key Selection Criteria)

To secure this role you will have:

  • Qualifications in administration and/or related fields and/or relevant experience.
  • Tertiary qualifications would be a distinct advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • Experience within the not-for-profit sector is desirable.
