About the role
The Uniting Church in Australia, Synod of Victoria and Tasmania, has a great opportunity available for an experienced administrator to join our team as an Executive Assistant.
This role provides administrative support to the executive officer role titled Associate General Secretary. The Executive Assistant supports diary management, records management, correspondence, meeting and events administration.
The role provides administration for several committees and task groups central to the effective operations of the organisation.
The Executive Assistant maintains accurate information about ministers and congregations in the organisation’s online directory/data warehouse.
The role will also draft policy and procedural documents and provide support for the administration and logistics requirements of the Synod meeting (conference held every 18 months).

About you (Key Selection Criteria)
To secure this role you will have:
- Qualifications in administration or related field, or equivalent experience
- Over 4 years’ experience in a similar role
- An understanding of the Uniting Church would be helpful, but not necessary
