About the role
The Continence Foundation of Australia’s purpose is to promote continence health and to eliminate the stigma and restrictions of all aspects of incontinence. It achieves this through research, advocacy, solutions, consumer education and professional development.
- As part-time Company Secretary, you will assist the Board to meet its legal and regulatory governance and compliance responsibilities and to act in accordance with governance best practice, as appropriate for an organisation of its size.
- You will join a skills-based board at an exciting time in its development following the recent unification of state and national continence entities.
- You will be an experienced Company Secretary, preferably in the not for profit sector.
- You will have broad board governance skills as well as strong interpersonal and influencing attributes, together with a personal commitment to the values of the Foundation.
- You will bring formal qualifications to support your application. This may be legal or accountancy qualifications, together with membership of the GIA and/or AICD. The board meets approximately seven times a year (a mixture of face to face and online meetings)
