About the role
Jesuit Social Services seeks a dynamic communication and marketing professional for a part-time (0.8EFT) role responsible for driving strong, clear and consistent communications across a diverse organisation. This role will be based in Richmond.
We are seeking a candidate with strong design skills who can produce high-quality work for publication across a range of media including print and web, with the capacity to generate compelling marketing and engagement strategies to support our advocacy, programs and fundraising. The role will drive the growth of our web and social media presence, and work closely with our Fundraising team to plan and deliver campaigns that engage, retain and grow the annual giving of donors.

About you
This role will suit a candidate with the following skills and experience:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated design and layout skills (preferably using Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and/or Figma)
- Experience in maintaining a website via Content Management System.
- Proven ability to apply brand guidelines across a diverse organisation.
- Experience managing, maintaining and growing a social media presence to achieve engagement with new and diverse audiences.
- Experience developing and executing fundraising marketing strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate the production of materials from briefing stage to completion.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current Victorian driver’s licence.
- Capacity to fulfil reporting requirements associated with the position.
- Understanding and sympathy with the mission and ethos of Jesuit Social Services.
- Valid Working with Children Check card.
- Successfully completed Police Check to be conducted by Jesuit Social Services prior to commencementx.
About the program
The Strategic Communications team works closely with the Policy team to join participant voice, practice wisdom and policy advocacy to raise public awareness of the challenges faced by our participants and the changes needed at a government level to improve outcomes for the whole community.
